What I do for Clients

Hi, my name is Kelly, and I’ve worked for PKF Texas for 9 years. I have 9 years of experience in accounting. I love working with clients in Construction, Hospitality, and Manufacturing and Distribution, focusing on employee benefit plans, external audits and strategic planning of financial statement audits.

I appreciate my clients by evaluating risks unique to each client and performing internal controls and substantive testing to make recommendations to management for compliance.

When I’m not at work, you can find me watching a great movie, cheering on the Astros and the Aggies, or finding a great restaurant.

How do you help your clients make “Smart Business Decisions”?

First and foremost, I research and gather information so that I know what I’m talking about before going to clients. I also collaborate with my colleagues and co-workers to pinball ideas around and make sure we’re giving an all-encompassing answer. We can give them options and advise them based on the most recent and accurate guidance or policy that came out, so we’re not just telling them what to do but backing it up with regulations.
