Russ: This is PKF Texas, the Entrepreneur’s Playbook. I’m Russ Capper sitting in once again for Greg Price, the Director of Consulting Solutions at PKF Texas because Greg is my guest. Greg, welcome back to the Playbook.
Greg: Thank you, Russ. It’s good to be back.
Russ: Okay. Recently we were talking about updates to NAV. We got into the mobility application. Is there more?
Greg: Yes, there is, Russ. As I said earlier, Microsoft never sleeps and so they’re always looking to tweak their product to make it more efficient and more capable for their customers. One of the things that I’m very excited about is the concept of work flow. There is a complaint we hear from time to time about employees not staying up-to-date with their procedures or people leave, there’s turnover and they take with them their understanding of the software and people have to go back to square one.
Russ: That makes sense.
Greg: Work flow now creates a process that is setup inside the software that follows the matrix that you design for the transaction to follow. So now there’s no more guess work associated with what’s supposed to happen next. The software will prompt and notify those who are responsible to take the action they need when it’s time to do that.
Russ: Okay. So you have a new user that means it’s gonna be — they’re gonna be productive pretty quickly then, right?
Greg: That’s right. Their productivity is probably gonna go through the roof. Their efficiency is gonna increase. They’re gonna be able to do more with less because now they’re going to be able to be very focused on what they’re supposed to do to complete their job.

Greg: It is indeed.
