Whether or not pets can accompany their owners into Houston restaurants has recently sparked a heated debate between pet lovers and those who don’t like to mix fur and food. According to Sec. 20-21.8 (f) in the City of Houston Code of Ordinances, it is against the law for restaurants to allow animals, except for service animals, inside a restaurant or even on its connected patio.
