HOUSTON – July 9, 2018 – Annjeanette Yglesias, CPA, Tax Manager, PKF Texas, has graduated from Project Blueprint, a program of the United Way of Greater Houston.
Project Blueprint’s mission is to increase ethnically diverse leadership in the not-for-profit sector and is designed to prepare emerging and current leaders in the multicultural community for leadership roles on not-for-profit and public-sector boards and committees. This year, there were 24 participants in the program.
“It is an honor to be a graduate of United Way’s Project Blueprint,” said Yglesias. “The program provided insightful knowledge on how not-for-profit organizations are run, what challenges they face, and the responsibilities board members have in not-for-profit governance. I’m looking forward to further serving our community and helping not-for-profit organizations achieve their goals.”
Yglesias is part of the Not-for-Profit niche team at PKF Texas where she has presented at firm-hosted seminars and panels, speaking on topics in the not-for-profit sector, including “Navigating Not-For-Profit Financials and Form 990,” “Winning the Fundraising Game” and “Trends in Philanthropy.” Yglesias also contributes written articles for The CPA Desk blog, Houston Business Journal, Leading Edge Digital Magazine and more.
