Checking in on Your Company’s Digital Presence

by | Jun 4, 2012 | PKF Texas - The Entrepreneur's Playbook®

Note: Running weekly in FromGregsHead.com, PKF Texas – Entrepreneur’s Playbook® is a continuing series of tips brought to you by Greg Price. These run Sunday evenings during the BusinessMakers Radio Show on KPRC 950AM.

Greg: This is PKF Texas and another chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Playbook. I’m Greg Price, Director of Consulting Solutions and I’m here again with Brian Gaubert, founder and CEO of Content Active, one of our clients. Brian, welcome back to the Playbook.

Brian: Thanks, Greg. Thanks for having me.

Greg: So Brian, I’m sure there are some C-level people that are watching this video today and they’re asking themselves the question: “Am I ahead of the curve or behind the curve on this whole digital thing?” What would you do if they asked you to come into their company?

Brian: Well the first thing that I would do is I’d look at their Website and if their Website hasn’t been updated in a long time, that would be the place to start – update the Website. Next, I would look at cloud computing. Cloud computing is huge and why not save some money and go to cloud computing. You can outsource that, save a ton of money. Third, you need to get people mobile. Giving your staff mobile technology so you can communicate more effectively is a key thing to your business. Communication is very key. And lastly, you need to look at social media – how it affects your business and how you can use that. And with all of these things, I would think very closely about outsourcing services around all of these options.

Greg: Sounds like that can provide a very good return on investment for you.

Brian: Absolutely.

Greg: Thanks for being here with us at the Playbook, again.

Brian: Thank you very much.

Greg: You bet. This has been another Thought Leader Production, brought to you by PKF Texas, the Entrepreneur’s Playbook. Tune in next week for another chapter and if you’d like to have a digital review, see the folks at Content Active.com
