Energy Conference Brings Together Houston’s Energy Executives

by | Nov 7, 2013 | The Energy Economy, Community Circle

As you recall, last year, PKF Texas was a proud sponsor of the Total Energy USA conference. We are again sponsors for 2013. This year the conference will be held November 19-21, 2013 at George R. Brown Convention Center.

It will assemble a mix of major energy users and customers, producers, distributors and brokers not found anywhere else. The conference combines a program for examining critical issues that impact multiple sectors of the energy industry with an expo featuring the latest technologies and resources for creating practical solutions today.

The conference is being backed by Mayor Annise Parker, Shell, Waste Management, the Greater Houston Partnership, the Houston Technology Center and many others, including PKF Texas. We think this is an important event for our city and brings a different perspective from other energy conferences held in the city each year.

We are pleased to alert you that one of our Directors, Byron Hebert, CPA, CTP, Entrepreneurial Advisory Services, will lead a workshop “Mindshop Roundtable: Tools for Building a Better Energy Business” on the third day of the conference, Thursday, 11/21.

The workshop will help business owners and C-level executives solve some of the toughest challenges related to their business. It will include identifying and removing waste in a business, gaining buy-in in operational and strategic plans using tools like a Force Field Analysis, and more. It will have an energy spin and relate to those specific challenges.
