Why did you choose to be a CPA and/or advisor?
I wanted to become an accountant since I was a little girl, because I always loved managing, saving money and keeping good records. My family didn't object to it, because they thought it would help get me a stable job. I graduated and started working in public accountant firms, and I just love it so much that I continue to this date.
What energizes you about your job?
Doing what I love every day!
What energizes you about working at PKF Texas?
PKF Texas is the greatest firm that I have worked with - I will not leave until I retire (I'm not the only one. I've seen many of my colleagues who had been with PKF Texas for a long time only recently retired). I love the culture and people here very much. We are like a big family who care and support each other. There are also a lot of opportunities to learn and grow.
What's your favorite season?
Spring - I love the numerous flowers and colors during this season. The weather is also beautiful, not too cold or hot.
