Why did you choose to be a CPA and/or advisor?
My first profession was as an engineer - this was back in the 80s - and the advice from family and coaches was to get an MBA. In that process I found I really liked accounting and decided to pursue that field and become a CPA.
What do you like best about helping clients?
My best clients have become friends, so being able to have a positive impact on their business, which is a significant part of who they are as a person and leader, is very rewarding.

Where are you from?
Born in Houston, Texas and spent most of my life here.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to fish and sail, just about anything on the water.

Do you own any pets?
No, nine grandchildren are enough to keep up with!
What kind of music do you like?
I like all kinds of music - classic rock, modern country, the Eagles...
